Robert Strobel
Robert founded Blitz Crew Racing & Coaching in August 2021. Prior to that, Robert had been riding and racing bikes since the age of 13. Over the years and through college, Robert found passion in helping others to grow and improve in cycling. Post college, Robert now races as a Category 1 on the road and spends his time working to help athletes reach their goals. “Every athlete is different in their experience level and goals. Because of this, there is no one training plan that can lead to success. Rather I work with individuals to create personalized training plans to play to both their strengths and weaknesses as an athlete.”

Trey has competed in nearly every discipline of cycling from mountain biking to Iron Man triathlons. “After being a swimming coach for years, I knew coaching cyclists would be a good fit for me. I have really enjoyed helping other cyclists reach their goals, whether it be just getting into cycling and trying to improve their overall health or elite athletes trying to win races. Watching your athletes succeed is one of the best feelings and is what inspires me to continue coaching.”

He was able to dip under the elusive four minute mile barrier in his final collegiate season. After college he fell in love with cycling and hasn't looked back. Over the last ten years he has focused heavily on Road Racing and Criteriums, racing as a Cat 2 on the road. He also has experience in cyclocross, time trials, and mountain biking. Ryan coaches both runners and cyclists with Blitz Crew.
"I am passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals. I believe in a science-based training plan. The best training plan is adaptable to the individual athlete to address their strengths and weaknesses. I believe a well-rounded athlete has the best chance for success and the best protection from injury. Coaching is more than just creating the training plan; it is also helping an athlete find their limits, motivating athletes, and developing their mindset"
